This call is for a six month term from January 2012 to June 2012 (This call is for UK designers only).
Here's how to be part of the team...
How to Apply:
Please email the following information to , inspiration@kanbancrafts.com
1. Contact information, including name, address, email and phone number.
2. Link to your blog and/or online gallery. We'd also love to know if you are on Facebook and/or Twitter.
3. Photograph and email us at least 5 samples of your best work, including cards, layouts and other craft projects (Kanban Crafts products to be the main focus where possible).
4. Have you been published? What other Design Teams are you part of and when does their term(s) end?
5. Tell us about YOU....what you love about crafting? Why do you want to become a Kanban Crafts UK design team member?
All Design Team applications must be received by Monday 2nd January 2012 to be considered. If selected you will be notified by email.
Monthly requirements:
1. Design Team members will be required to submit 1 layout, project or 2 cards per week.
2. Promoting Kanban products on your personal blog and other sites.
3. Submission of projects to magazines for publication.
4. Submission of high quality photo images of finished projects with a products used list or instructions if required.
5. Providing physical samples if requested for tradeshows and/or sales meetings.
What you will get in return:
1. A big box of Kanban Crafts goodies to work with, including new releases.
2. You will have your own album on the Kanban Crafts Facebook page where your work will be posted.

for this tag i have used the stunning papers from fight like a girl paperspack avalible from Rasperry Road Designs and over stamped them with swirls and a tex stamp then added some flower rub- ons that i had just to give it a bit more depth
i am sorry i don't know the name of the stamp as it was wood mounted and i took it off the wood years ago

needed a challenge this morning just to get the mo jo going lolxx
so i had a look at the challenges and decided to take part in the sketch and stash challenge
now for this card i have used the super cute nellie snallen stamps from Dies to Die For called Dawn for name sake wise i just had to use them they are so cute you will love them too,
for the stunning backing papers i have used Authentique Wondor from Dies to Die for also there are some beautiful papers in this range so go check them out , the image is coloured with my tim holtz distress inks
the beautiful flowers are from wild orchid crafts ,

Needed a small project to make today
so a tag it had to be (you may see this tag on a card lolxx)
to create this tag i used some fab Tim Holtz stamps a friend got me last week for my birthday (thanks chick)xxx
i created the background with distresses inks and the stamps the beautiful lace is from wild orchid crafts ,sorry i can not remember were the large flowers were from
and there is a small amount of glossy accents on the stamp mark on the main image but don't think the photo shows it too well

Magnolia challenge and a promarker top tip

today i have had chance to play with my very neglected magnolia stamps (slap hand lolxx)
so i have done this card for the new Official Magnolia blog challenge which is stitching or faux stitching on your cards
and for all of you promakers ladies i have a top tip for you if you have flowers for your cards and projects that don't match simply colour them with your promarkers to match i have done this on my flowers by tinting the edges and colouring in the whole of the little rose buds
so keep your promarkers handy xxx

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Hopefully by the time this card comes on the blog i will be busy at work today (fingers crossed it post)
this card i made at 5am this morning as i remembered its one of the girls at work birthday today so i was not up to focusing very well at that time in the morning i decided to just stamp the image and drag the colour in with a water brush (cheat ,i know)
i used the fabulous sketch over on the sugar bowl challenge and used one of all time favs from Funky Kits the beautiful flowers are from wild orchid crafts

first huge sorry on the quality of photo again but even the day light lamp could lighten the dark fog we have here today xxx

Hi Everyone
first i want to say the biggest thank you from my self and sue and Harvey at Imagination craft's
we had 3 sell outs in 18 mins on the show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the support from the costumers ,e-mails and blog friends who all believed in us and the products has truly blown us all away

Oh Wow girls i have to say we had the best time at QVC !!!!
Dawn Bibby and her crew (huge waves to Amy and the gang) are the nicest group of people
they welcomed Sue and my self in to the family like you would not believe
have to say one of the funniest bits was when we were in the pub that night and i phoned hubbie and said guess who i am in the pub with (he said who) i said Dawn Bibby and paula pascual (he said are you drunk lolxxxx) i said no shes right here listen lolxxx
there was 500 women there over the 2days so you can imagine how busy we were ,
the atmosphere was fantastic the very talented Sue my (boss lady lolxxxx) was heading the silkies make and take and wow they loved that

i was demoing the inkadinks and paint affects with them ,i have never seen so many ladies waiting to have a go at new ink techniques

and last but not least the lovely ,cute and very fabulous Craig was with us all day on the first day he is such a fab guy he went out of his way to make us all feel welcome

i have done a simple tutorial on triple embossing to create a porcelain tile affect
for this card i have used on of the new Birdie love stamps which i have could with my fabulous Inkadinks and then used my ultra thick embossing powder to give a glass like affect to your image and create an elegant but expensive looking finish to any card or project ,

wow i have to share with you the weekend i have just had xxx
the fabulous Sue and Harvey from Imagination crafts asked me if i could stand in and help them out at the trade show at the NEC in Birmingham at the weekend
feeling very nervous (and cokesing for a fabby friend xxx)i decided to go
so with a short new hair cut and a spray tan off i went lolxxxx
Girls i have to tell you when meeting Suzie weinberg ,Dawny Bibby OMG i was off my head lolxx
talking to me about the products and loving the samples i nealy wet my pants lolxxx
plus meeting the fabulous Tracy from dies to die for (hugs at you babe) plus all the fabulous ladies that have been and read my blog that came to speak to me i can not thank you all enough you all made me feel so humble to know such a fabulous group of people and i will never for get it

Stamp with fun challenge

Good morning girls ,hope you are all ok xxx
so sorry i have been AWOL but have had a lot going on at the moment so i will be back with you all soon xxx
the card i have made to day is for the Stamp with fun challenge ,i know the circle on the sketch should be at the back but in haste to make this card i did not realise till it was stuck down ( note to self less haste more speed lolxxx) so i hope it still counts xxx
plus just found out the challenge over at quixotic challenge is to make something for mum (so this cards going to my Mum)
the beautiful stamped image is from imagination crafts they have a fabulous range of realy beautiful stamps ,i thought this card would be lovely for a mothers day card or a wedding ,
to all the lovely e-mails i have had about this paper i have used it was a freebie that was bright yellow and it was changed in photo shop lolxxx i have had it years
the beautiful roses as always are from wild orchid crafts the large rose is one of the new two tone range plus they have loads of new pins to add to your cards also

well its took me all day to get this card to up load Blogger has been a bit of a devil to say the least
this cute little card i have made for the Friday sketches challenge
using the new beautiful new image from the Whiff of joy city girls range available now and if you have not pre orded your spring collection make sure you get that while you are there
the image has been coloured with my gorjuss inkadinks and then i have dressed the card with the beautiful flowers from wild orchid crafts (fabulous range of the most beautiful flowers)

Sketch saturday challenge

todays card i have made for Sketch saturday challenge the DT have have made some stunning cards to inspire you so make sure you go over there xxx
the fabulous cute image i have used is a penny Johnson image which i have coloured with my inkadinks (would not live with out now) the flowers in the image i have coloured with my silkies( like H2O'S but already mixed and ready to use brilliant product)
the other flowers on my card i have punched out and added the glitz gel (arctic frost )to add a bit of Spackle and the centre flowers are from wild orchid crafts
sorry the photos a little dark but it is so dark and foggy here today

Hi girls have a little card for you this morning this card i have made for the Truly Scrumptious challenge

the super cute image i have used is from the new range at Little Claire's Designs this stamp could be used for any sort of card plus for the girls or guys so a great on to buy

the image has been coloured in with my fav Inkadinks the flowers have been made with my retro punch and centre flowers from wild orchid crafts

Morning girls for all of you whiff of joy stamp followers

the pre orders are now avalible for the spring collection Birdie Love ,

There have been some changes to the terms. The major ones are that you will be able to see the kits before you purchase them. The other is that there will be more kits than only 4 in 2010. Whiff of Joy have upgraded their stamp kits to a bi-monthly kit, because they are such a great deal and have been such a success in 2009

so good news all round xxx

to make this card i have used the sweet message stamp from the greeting farm range available from the fabulous Tracy at Dies to die for
make sure you check Tracys shop out she has that many new products it will make your head spin lolxxxx
she has copic pens ,distress inks ,new greeting farm stamps but to name but a few so get over there fast be for they sell out
the flowers i have used are from wild orchid crafts the image has been coloured with my Inkadinks (love them)

New card Template and a few Challenges

Hi Girls ,this card i have made for a few challenges lolxxx
the base for this card is a new template i made (which took longer than the card to make lolxxx) i got the idea from Friday Sketches (my hubbie thinks i need help as he could not see what i saw lolxxx when making the template ) the second challenge is for just magnolia (hearts and flowers), creative inspirations challenge (femine) and totaly gorguss (Dimension) fingers crossed it counts for the last one lolxxx
The magnolia stamps and paper i have used are all from Sir - Stampalot ,the fabulous roses as always are from wild orchid crafts ,and the colouring medium i have used to colour this cutie is of cause my Inkadinks ,

the bling i have used is my last few that i brought at the NEC so have to get some soon lolxxx
