it is to design a card on your hubbies hobbie,well my hubbie is car mad so here is the two cards i made ,the first one i used pink petticoat papers then made a pocket from acitate to put my car in and stitched it together with my sewing machine,punched out a circle and put a star eye let through the middle and finished it off with a rub on sentiment ,Dawnxx

This is the second card i did lol,for the challenge,I used a die cuts with a view checked paper,the stamp i used was from a imagepac make your own stamp kit,black and red card some ribbon and a rub on for the sentiment

I MADE THE DESIGN TEAM!!!!!

Well Steph over on http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ was looking for new members to join the team for this new weekly challenge and guess what i got on the team ,
Nervous and panic did set in this afternoon lol,but once i get in to it i will be fine (fingers crossed lol)

Daring Cardmakers Challenge (postcard)

Well this weeks challenge was a test (lol),on daring cardmakers challenge,its not the normal what i do but i was in one of them moods ,when only stamps will do .

first i used a inkadinkado stamp on the left hand side of the card and a dimension fouth ltd clear text stamp on the right then i blended chalk over the whole thing then using a free watch stamp i had ,i stamped that with a tim holtz ink pad,then 3d the small stamp in the middle of the card ,then stamped the thinking of you sentiment with black stayzon ,i think thats every thing lol,xxx

WOW ,FAB NEW CHALLENGE BLOG

when looking at all the fab blogs out there , i came a cross steph's blog and there i found a great new weekly challenge she is doing over on papertake blog,
so the challenge is using swirls (my fav) ,so here is my take on it i used pinkpeticoat papers ,the stamp was a unmounted one brought from ebay(sorry i dont know the name) and the sentiment was a rubon and some black ribbon, so fingers crossed its ok LOL,Dawnxx

2nd Time Lucky

I am so sorry to mess you all about ,but when looking at what i had made last night i cringed ,so i just had to try again ,i just feel better with this one LOL,I used a anna griffin stamps,a piece of patterned paper that was left over,and of cause my all time fave my cuttlebug embossing folder,xxx

Thank God For Tesco !!!

Firstly i must say this was quite a hard challenge for me ,well with me being dyslexic i dont do letters in i can help it LOL,

so at nearly 10'oclock at night rummaging through draws looking for a envelope with a stamp on ,then going through the the kids toy box's as they sleep ,all i could find was a postman pat sticker stamp LOL,

so then i remembered the 24/7 tesco was open ,so sending hubby there looking for stamps all he managed to get was this (men hey),

so with it being a 1st class stamp i decided to do a well done card,used scraps of handmade papers a piece of gold mesh,brads and a swirl clip,i know it's a basic card but when you only got basic things LOL,xxxx
