Daring card makers challenge (tuesday)

Daring card makers challenge for Tuesday is to make a card using a Christmas tree,well for this challenge i just had to use my most fav paper of the moment from pink petticoat(Lola's Boudoir),all the papers used on this card are from that cd ,i just cut out the tree from the papers then mated and laired added a stamped sentiment,a bow and 3 bling stones,

as you can see below these were things i made for my friends hen night ,a hat which had chocolates in and a exploding box with a disposable camera in so to make a keep sake box after to put the photos in , so this fav paper started last week lol,xxx

This weeks challenge over on Papertake weekly challenge http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ is to make funky kids birthday cards or invites,as you can see i got a bit carried away lol,my son had a few party's to go to so the challenge fitted in nice,steph must have thought i had gone mad with this challenge lol,i used a hot off the press papers the monkey is a digbat from 2 pea's which i re sized and coloured in with chalks, the sentiments are a rub on ,so if you have not tried this challenge yet please go and have a look .

This was my next card ,i used the same hot off the press papers the rocket and sentiment are from some doodles i brought from 2pea's in a bucket i think lol,and a little stitching effect .

This one i used the hot off the press papers again and sizzix sizzlets dies for the words ,candle and stars ,then gave the stars and the backing paper behind the candle a fau stitching effect,

Daring Card Makers Challenge

The challenge for this week over on Daring cardmakers said wild ,well i have had one of those wild weeks lol, First i broke 2 toes then my little girl alexx was poorly so you see i am all wild out lol,
This card was made using a papers i was given i think they were from ebay(sorry i can not be sure),my friend brought them but did not know what to do with them so she gave them me lol,i then embossed a brown paper that matched the design with one of the new cuttle bug folders i had brought ,then i printed the happy birthday out on my computer and then inked round the edges of the sentiment and the giraffe and 3 little brads to finish it off ,xxxx

Card Positioning System

This my card for this weeks challenge over on CPShttp://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com///,its the first time i have done this one ,but i loved it ,first i used a digital paper pack from creative delighthttp://www.creativedelights.com/letteringdelights/i printed 4 of the papers out to make this card then rounded off the corners on the squares i cut out then cut the flowers out to add some dimension laired them up and added a sentiment stamped with black stayzon (this was a really quick card to do )

Daring Card Makers ,Mid Week Challenge

The mid week challenge for Daring card makers ,is to design a card with christmas words on it ,so here is mine ,i used the pink petticoat cd's to print out all the papers (fav) ,plain pink and the christmas writing one ,then printed the monograms again from a pink petticoat cd on to the pink paper and cut them out and then embossed them with a cuttlebug christmas embossing folder,which i used also for a back ground paper which i rubbed over with a pink ink pad and then added glitter to ,but on the photo it dose not seem to come out so well lol,then using eyelets and some silver cord to tie in a bow a small snowflake punched out of silver mirra card and a couple of bling stones there you have it

it is to design a card on your hubbies hobbie,well my hubbie is car mad so here is the two cards i made ,the first one i used pink petticoat papers then made a pocket from acitate to put my car in and stitched it together with my sewing machine,punched out a circle and put a star eye let through the middle and finished it off with a rub on sentiment ,Dawnxx
